His background includes leading advisory roles in areas like high-threat meetings, hostage rescue, and direct combat. He’s a principal author of pioneering targeting methodologies for counter-terrorism and counter-insurgency and is recognized as a dynamic thinker skilled in scenario development for corporate and government clients.

Tod’s expertise is extensive, spanning from tactical ground operations to strategic boardroom discussions. He has advised Joint Forces, the U.S. Army, and NATO, and has 16 years of experience in hostile and complex environments. As a former U.S. Army soldier, officer, and senior advisor to general officers, Tod has been involved in Special Operations since 9/11.

He’s also a certified Project Management Professional and CARVER method practitioner, with a proven record in consulting on topics including Active Shooter response, counter-surveillance, and Operations Center/Fusion Center development.
